I have a lennox heating/cooling system, and the line coming from the outside unit up into the attic unit with the insulation on it is frozen. What do I need to do and what causes this?

Could be a variety of problems: Dirty air filters, over/under charge of freon, clogged evaporator coil, slow blower motor, air flow restriction in return duct. Call your local HVAC co. if it's more than dirty air filters.

Yep, check that there are not duct dampers closed, or some other restriction to the air flow. Turn it off and make sure everything is well thawed. If it happens again, you need a service call
