The installers are coming on Monday (1/19) afternoon adn I am ripping off the carpet now. The tack strips are bummer.. taking a while to remove. Do I have to remove them, or can the installers re-use them? They are in pertyy good shape. If I have to remove them, do you have any tips for making it faster and easier? Thanks a ton for help!

Yes the good undamaged tackstrip that is already installed can be used over and over again until it rots.
More then likely, it will cost you more for them to come in and install tackstrip. I know I do.
You see, when the job was most likely bid with this in mind... It takes less time and no out of pocket expense to use the existing tackstrip. Now the time to nail the strip and the actual cost of the strip adds up.
