We built our home 12 years ago. Gradually, more of the double-pane windows have failed: they fog up, and now with the extreme cold, 1/8th inch ice forms on them.
I understand that such failing is normal. We are beyond any warranty period.
Replacement would expensive. What is a reasonable alternative? Drapes? home-made-insulating-panels? I would appreciate any thoughts, and Thanks.
