I just installed a new hot water furnace. It will not shut off via the thermostat..I changed thermostat, but still keeps running..till I shut the power switch..any Ideas??

Not much help, but sounds like some wires crossed. Might start over from scratch, paying close attention to how you wired heater to power supply and how you wired thermostat, you installed. Sounds like somehow the t.stat is being bi-passed. Compare to old heater or wiring diagram.

Hi:
Look inside the control area on the boiler and see if can tell the brand & model # of the aquastat. Post it here and we should be able to come up with the wiring hookup. Also, tell how your zones work. Are they pumps or zone valves? Thanks. John.

I take it this is a boiler? is it oil or gas?..Gas tend to be cold start, and oil tend to be hot fired.... if you have a triple Aquastat then the high limit may be set too high... are you letting it come up to temp?
