Ever notice when you cut a piece of Plywood veneer or even solid wood, it has a lot of "Blow Out" on the bottom?
Well, here's an idea to prevent that from happening again.
Plywood Veneers are famous for blowing out on the bottom side when crosscutting.
You need to buy a good blade, either by Amana or Leitz
It needs to be a 10x80 Alternate Bevel, with a negative degree rake. One that is used for Plywood Veneers/Melamine. Don't go to home Depot, because you won't find it.
Go to www.rockler.com or I'm sure you could even go to Amana's web site to find out where their distributors are at.
You don't NEED to buy that blade, but I highly recommend you do.
You're going to want a 10x80 blade anyway, regardless if you choose Amana, Leitz, etc.
If you have a 10x80 now try this next time.........
Lower your blade down to where it's only sticking up above the top of the table saw, give or take 1/8" Not an exact science.
Run your piece of wood through. "It's scoring the bottom of the wood"
Now, leaving your fence where it's at, raise the blade to where you normally cut the wood at. "Above the wood, no more than 1/2" and cut your piece of wood.
Flip it over and WALAH! No Blow out
