We are going to purchase a new gas grill for propane. I would love to hear comments about what to buy; i.e., stainless steel, brand names, etc. I want a grill that is easy to clean with little maintenance. Stainless seems to be a good choice, however, they are expensive.
If there are any websites that rate grills, please advise
Thanks.

Hello Kathy D. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic.
As with all product purchases, they are subjective to individual personal choices, features, options and prefererences.
The stainless steel models are preferable for some outdoor locations but not all. Cleaning is easier and the appliances eye appeal is better, in my opinion. (IMO)
Cost factors are one concern, as is brand manufacturer. Warranties and future service and parts needing to be replaced are other pre purchase considerations.
Consumers Diegest magazine or the online web site may provide sufficient information on which to base a purchase or rate any specific brand of interest.
In person visits to local patio shops which sell the products as well as bbq and fireplace retail privately owned local stores are (imo) the better choices for shopping and comparing.
Based upon the fact that the intended appliance is one that may be a bit pricey when compared to large generic retail hardware stores which provide little brand specific info or after sales services or parts, etc.
Alway's consider the warranties and future service needs for any major appliances your considering to purchase. Price isn't always the best guide for long term appliance investments.
