i am looking at purchasing an air compressor.
i am looking at the campbell hausfeld air compressors & the two i am looking at are the 7 hp, 135 psi,60 gallion asme single stage air compressor which delivers 11.8 cfm@ 40psi & 10.3 at 90psi.
the other compressor i am looking at is also a campbell hausfeld & it is a 7 1/2 hp 140 psi quad compressor air delivery 18.1 cfm @ 90 psi & 15.4 @ 140psi 100% duty cycle.
the tool i will be using the most will be a 6" sander or grinder.
the first compressor doesn't say where it's oil free or not
the second compressor does use oil.
thanks

Air grinders and sanders take a lot of cfm. Go for the big boy.....

A 6" grinder uses about 6 cfm @ 90 psi so either would do it for you.
