I have a Concord Express ( Model :60-806-95R) security system that is not monitored.I am trying to set up notification by pager feature.Instructions in the manual are not very clear about this.

I need some help for this how to turn on this feature where it will dial my cell pnone to notify me of alarm/system arming/system disarming.

Thanks,
Timmy

It's not easy to maket this work with a cell phone - first of all your cell phone must support paging; secondly, you have to setup the pager number just right to make it work; thirdly, you cannot answer the phone to receive the page.

This is going to be different for every phone, but basically, what you do is insert pauses after your phone's number so that the system will go to Voice Mail, or whatever, and then leave a page instead of a message. As you can see, this can be difficult to fine-tune.

If you want to send pages to a cell phone, I recommend using NumericPage.Com - it's $10/year and essentially will send a Text Message to your cell phone using a pager format.

The system calls an 800 number, dials your PIN, then puts in the page. Take a look at the site, it will make more sense. I used their service for a while, but I don't have a land-line to the house anymore, so I'm not using it anymore. It's very easy to setup.

Good luck!
