Hello All. I was looking to start getting a woodworking magazine and just happened to receive an offer in the mail for "Woodsmith". Has anyone seen or used this? Any recommendations?
And i guess beyond that, is there another magazine that you have found to be well worth it? I have a table saw, router and router table etc. I do mostly home projects that involve room structures or moldings etc, but would like to do some furniture, like a bunkbed for my son, etc. I don't have a ton of time to spend reading publications, but would enjoy getting a woodworking periodical i think.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

I have taken a variety of woodworking magazines over the years: Woodsmith, Workbench, Handyman, and so on. All of them are good in their own ways. I would look at them from the perspective of how well they address the things that I do and would like to do. My favorite is Fine Woodworking from Taunton Press. Maybe a visit to their respective web pages can give you a feel for the flavor of the publication. Many can be found on the rack at places, such as: lowes, to review.
Hope this helps.

I used to subscribe to both Woodsmith and its sister publication called Shop Notes -- also very good. The thing I like about both rags is that they are direct and concise without a lot of fluff.
