Did you try eBay?

You might want to obtain the CRT monitor locally. The heavy weight of those units will make for high shipping charges. Plus you can get a brand new 17" CRT for less than $100 now.

The LCDs are going to be a little bit harder to come across. I paid $500 for my 19" Dell and that is about the lowest I've seen them. 15" LCDs are $300 and 17"s $400. These are for name brand units. Off-brands can generally be had for a bit less.

This time of the year, post-Christmas returns, is a good time to look for "open box" items at the big retailers such as Best Buy, Circuit City. These are usually marked down but will carry the original warranty.

You might want to check out this thread about good deals. Being informed, and "shopping around" will usually get you the best bargains.
