Gee, me and these rough openings!!
This time it's on me--since I built the rough openings for the closets.
I have two closets with 20" wide rough openings. I have not ordered/bought a prehung 18" door, but was wondering:
will an 18" prehung FIT into the 20" opening? Or do I need to go custom on this?

Width will work. You need to also check height.

Thanks, I didn't want to buy a door then have it not fit and have to plane or sand the sides.
The height is OK. I got 3 1/4" casing trim--works great.
