I finally got my armstrong/modine garage heater working. Now i need to run the exhaust vent out the side wall. i am wondering if i can use a typical DVP trap...kinda like the one on my fireplace. Or does the exhaust from this direct vent heater run too hot? I dont want to ruin my siding. Im gonna run the double wall pipe all the way

ps....its 35k BTU

thanks in advance

sidewall vent...is this an 80% unit? i assume it is, see mfr data as to specs for run and termination. what is a DVP trap?

my heatnglow fireplace has it listed as a dvp trap. its the square box mounted on the outside wall for venting. they look halfway decent. i didnt want to just run a ugly straight pipe out the side.
