I have a Sears 758.638700 whole house fan with a #13534 motor (Sears quotes an alternate motor number of 8200). Sears wants my first born as a replacement cost, can anyone cross this? I ran into this in the past and the only non-standard difference was the direction of rotation. I'm sure that Sears doesn't make the thing, they just mark it up after they buy it. Does anyone have a source for these? Thanks!

Update: it has an Emerson S63CXELB-5056 motor

If you can buy from Grainger or Johnstone those are good starting points if not you could get in touch with your local motor store as an example we have one here in Northern KY. If I take a motor in to them they will match it up usually on the spot and if they can't do it then they can order me one in at alot lower cost than a retailer would charge me.
