Hello
We have a room we want to refinish that was done by the previous owner in blue with a paper border around the room about three feet off teh ground. Is tehre a good chemical to use to take it off? We are repainting the whole room afterwards. Thank You.

Ordinarily, you would use wall paper remover.

Start with hot water and move up to wallpaper removal solution if necessary.

Use a Steamer if you have one. Score it with a wallpaper tiger then steam it off.

DIF is what I use when plain hot water does not work. I would not go with a steamer as strippers and water are more then efficient and steamer can damage walls.

They can cause minor damage if you arent familiar with them. I never had good results with Dif. I find steamers much quicker. But the consensus recommends Dif so give it a try/
