Bricks, Masonry, Asphalt and Concrete - outside wall brick damage

I purchased a home recently in an urban area. The brick wall separating my property from my neighbor had become coated with moss due to continual flow of water from lots of rain this past year - water was coming off my neighbor's back roof and flowing over into my yard. We scraped most of the moss off the brick. We also solved the water flow problem. However, the brick feels very wet. Now that it's winter some of the bricks are slaking off little by little due to freeze. I would like to reduce further damage but everything I've read indicates that the brick must be dry before I can apply any sealer. Is there a way to dry out this brick? Unfortunately I can't expect the sun to do it since the section of wall affected is in a corner where the sun doesn't touch.

Any ideas out there among the experts or those who have been where I am?

The source of water being removed, the brick will dry in the fullness of time by transpiring the moisture to the air the same as clothes dry on a line. You might accelerate the process with a large fan.
