How do you keep your cut tree from drying out? We all have tried something. Did it work or not? Tell us your tricks :) .

We have been using a sugar water made from taking 2 cups of sugar per quart & simmer & stir use a cover until all sugar is clear & disovled. This is a sugar syrup it goes into the tree easily added to water.

For a Small stand 1/2 cup added to tree water ever 3rd day & up to 1 &1/2 cups for the bigger tree stands every 3rd day. Keep an eye on how much water the tree is using also.

I cut an angle off both sides of the base that sits on the middle edge & give the tree more surface area to pick up the sweet water. This seems to work until I can get the Wife to allow me to remove the Tree, sometime next year LOL :) .

A supple tree is a safe tree.
