I have a peace lily given to me from my grandmothers' funeral. It used to be beautiful, now, not so much. It's on its' last root...I have called all of my local flower shops for help, and looked up info. on the web. No luck. I've tried everything. It is fading away to nothing but a few leaves now and stems without leaves. Does anyone have a miracle cure for this thing? I keep it in low light, and have put moss around the base to retain the moisture, but it is just pathetic. I hope to keep this alive as all of her belongings were taken by less than deserving family members, and she really liked lilies. Just hoping to keep it blooming year after year. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Here is some care information.

They should be allowed to dry between waterings.
Hope this helps.

Thank you, I went there and immediately removed the "moss" that I put around the base--obviously a huge mistake because while there, I decided to prune (haha) and a few of the remaining green leaves were molded off. So hopefully the soil will dry out before the plant does. Thanks again.
