I may have royally done it now...
After doing some programming of my Ademco Vista 20P panel, I exited by *98 --subsequently, I found out never to exit program mode that way.
Anyway, according to the manual, all I need do is power the system down, power up and then I should be able to enter program mode via <installer code> + 800
Well, I powered the system down, powered up again and am still locked out. To power down, I had the AC and DC power sources un hooked and I am sure there was no remaining power source. I waited over an hour and then powered it back up.
Anyone have any helpful hints, or do I have to move?

OK, I should have re-read Brandon's reply to my earlier post. After powering back up, I held # * and I was able to get in via installer code.
Now, how do I get out of programming mode without *98 ?

I get out of programming mode with *99

LOL - well, the important thing is that you figured it out. It's amazing what those manuals can teach you :) Sometimes it just takes a few tries to either understand what they are saying or find the answer to your question.
