I now have carpeting in my living room and dining room. There is hard wood flooring underneath and I wood like to know if anyone knows how I would go about resurfacing and making it look like it suppose to? There are some spots on it.

Hello an welcome Kim.
Most likely you can sand your floors down and refinish them, if they're in good shape. But I don't know what "There are some spots on it." means, burns? paint?
