Hello, I'm installing a T&G Pine floor. I haven't done it before. I've got 1x4 strapping screwed and glued on a cement floor (strapping seems solid) and now I'm installing the pine. For any experts I have two questions...
1) Any tips on tightening the planks so as to minimize/eliminate gaps?
2) More importantly, on the several rows I've put in there is a little bit of creaking. How do I prevent this?
Any suggestions much appreciated. -pete
