I have a 60 year old house with plaster walls. In one roome I have small visable cracks. As I reparing the wall I noticed it was painted over wallpaper covering the plaster. I am considering drywalling the entire room. Is it possible to glue and screw drywall onto plaster, or in this case, putting drywall over the wallpaper?

I would recommend fixing the plaster and stay away from putting drywall over it. You will have to put jam extensions on all doors and re cut all the base board. Is the plaster solid. If it is, strip the wallpaper and repair the cracks.
