I have an area in my breakfast room (approx. 8-1/2' wide and 4' deep) in which I would like to build a "U" shaped restaurant style (kind of a "50's" style) booth. I already have the table top and base figured out, and I have someone that can upholter the seating area on the booth itself. I simply want to build the booth, making it ready for the upholsterer. I have looked everywhere I can think of for some kind of plan or even a bosic idea as to how to construct it without any success. I don't expect to find a plan that fits my exact space, but if I could find a plan with the basic shape that I'm looking for, I'm sure I could modify the dimensions to fit. Maybe someone out there has done this themselves and would be willing to share their experinces with me.
