We are in the staining process of installing cherry floors in our home. The final stain should be put down today (thursday 12/4) or tomorrow. How long do I need to stay off the floor before we can move back in to the house and place furniture on the floor??? please help :)

Ask the finisher. If you are DIY look on the can of finish. Typical floor finishes are dry in 24 hours, but should not be walked on with anything but socks for 48 hours. Furniture can be replaced in 48-72 hours (longer is better) but no rugs for 30 days. Avoid sliding heavy furniture for 30 days also.
