Today i took out my old oil hot water furnace and put in a new one. Two problems, when i fill the system and bleed it, the expansion tank also fill up and then the relief valve blows because of too much water pressure. Then when i fire it up, it burns for about 15 seconds and shuts down then restart after 65 seconds (recycle time). Any suggestions? I don't want to have to call in an installer now. I'd embarrass myself.
thanks.
thanks.

Hi jgs:
Best place for online help with hydronic systems is www.heatinghelp.com (http://www.heatinghelp.com) It may be recycling on a low water cutoff because of trapped air in the boiler. Also, you need to have an air cushion in the expansion tank. Try the heating help guys, they're the experts on hot water heat. Thanks. John.
