what is the correct way to install a new water pump for hot water heat, should the pump draw the water into the furnace or pump it into the system.

Both ways work.... I like to pump it away from my boiler... A great Hydronics man is Dan Holohan... he wrote a book about pumping away... it all has to do with the way pressures work...I have always installed my pumps to pump away, and not pump into..have never had a problem.. and my pumps seam to last longer too...
