I live in a single home with lots of trees on the property. I'm looking to plant something under a few very tall trees. Mainly for privacy, I want to block the veiw of my neighbors house. I was thinking something like a hedge, fire bush, or some sort of evergreen but they all say they need full sun, but I also want something that grows somewhat fast.
I can deal with leaves falling off in the winter but I'm not looking to get anything like a butterfly bush, they are to thin.
If I was to plant hedges in a shady area, what would happen? Would they thake forever to grow or ust dye?

Any suuggestions would be great

I know this can be a challenge, finding something large for shade. Here is a link to a search engine for shade plants that will give you some options.

Hope this helps.
