Woke up this a.m. and found it strange that the heat pump fan was running since the therm. was set at 75deg. and the temp. was about 70deg. in the house.Went outside and found ice around the insulated pipe coming out the heat pump and the only way i could get the fan to stop was by turning off the a.c. circuit breaker. the ice melted but the fan still runs continuosly unless i cut off the circuit breaker. any help would be appreciated

Condenser won't shut off.
- The contactor is stuck on.
Is the coil on the contactor powered. If Not Replace the contactor.
If the coil is powered it could be an Isolation relay or Bad circuit.
Need to check that contactor and let me know what you find.
