I've got a PIR on zone 02 and have a 'not ready' message on the 6150 keypad. I basically just have two wires running from the panel to the + and - on the PIR and an EOL in series. Any ideas before I get out the peen hammer?

Motion sensors are 4 wire devices. They take 12v input from aux power at the + and - terminals, the zone loop goes to the normally closed contact terminals. It takes both power and alarm loops for one to work.

Thanks to you my motion is now working. Hope I didn't cause too many old timers to roll their eyes at my question LOL.

Nope, sometimes I still have to remind my boss that motions, glassbreaks and the like take 4 wires. He's notorious about forgetting to re order 4 conductor cabling!
