Does anyone have experience with the Desert Spring Furnace Humidifier? Is it better than the other types? I have softened water, so am not to worried about scale buildup.

I have not heard of them or seen one. (Looked it up on the web) It's diffrent.. I would stick with the April Air, or Honeywell Brand humidifiers.

Might work, but it's too unique, too exepesive and too many moving parts. The AprilAir is half the price, has only 1 moving part (the water valve) and needs almost no cleaning. Just replace the pad every year and go. It's also common and easy to get parts for.
