im framing a wall in my basement that has a window and door opening. my floor is somewhat uneven, to point of one side of the window opening is off by 1/4"

should i build the opening with 1 jack stud 1/4" taller then the other, compensating for the slope in the floor, or should i just build everything the same size, and shim the window more on one side after the fact.

same question in regards to door openings.

I'd make the window & door openings square to the wall and worry about the level on the floor when you get ready to do the flooring.

The sooner you make the work level, the easier the next stage will be. I would make the trimmers uneven and align the framing with the window. This is one of te things that makes remodeling go slower than new construction.
