My GE tv will not power up. When I push the power on, it clicks and then clicks again and never turns on. I was able to track down the clicking to a part on board. After looking at the schematics, it was the on/off relay. I want to know how hard it would be for me an amateur to replace it. Also what is the cost for the part. The model of the TV is "20gt425".

Your TV is clicking off because it is not receiving the proper voltage at one of the devices. It is a safety mechanism. The relay is clicking because it is being told to shut down.
Check the components immediately around the flyback transformer. If none are bad, desolder the collector of the HOT transistor, and attempt power-on. If the TV powers on with Sound but no picture, replace the flyback transformer.
