I just removed a wallpaper border from my bathroom trying glue remover and a wallpaper scorer. I had no luck so i wound up using TSP and that worked with some effort. However there is still some glue left on the wall in places, is there anything I can use to remove this glue before priming and painting?

Plain water should work. Wallpaper paste is water soluble.
So, if water isn't taking it off, then someone used something other than wall paper paste.
Did you put this border up? What type of glue/paste did you use?

The wallpaper border was there when we bought the house 10 yeas ago. I have tried TSP and DIF and plain water, but no luck. I was going to try vinegar per another reply. If you have any other ideas I certainly would appreciate it. Thanks.

My wife's mother once told us to us warm water with fabric softener in it. I didn't beleive her but it worked great. a plastic scrapper removed it in a single stroke.
Good luck.
Good luck.
