I bought a 12 x 12 piece of carpet off the roll from Home Depot last Friday. It's the kind they cut off the roll for you. Brought home and it's the wrong color- I'm so upset about it. Of course since they cut it- I cannot return it. Any ideas???
I guess my options are:
1. live with it
2. Paint the room
3. Try and sell carpet privately.
Anybody else?? No- I have no other room in the house for it.

Did you pick one you don't like or did they cut the wrong carpet? If it was them they owe you the right one. If it was you, you could paint the room or see if HD will exchange it if you are willing to pay a restocking fee and sell you a different one. Talk to a manager, they are usually willing to at least hear you out, maybe even help.

Ya know, on further thought you could border the piece of carpet you have now with the "right" color and still make a very nice room of it. The border work may require professional assistance though.
