Hi there, we just recently moved into our first house that has a Rheem Criterion II Furnance. My first thought was to go a get a new filter for this thing but for the life of me I cannot find a air filter in it. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Wade

If a filter rack was not installed remove the blower cover and see if it's in there where the return enters.

Pull the front cover off, the filter is above the blower.
Reach up and tilt it up to the right and slide it down and pull it out between the right side of the furnace and the square exhaust tube.
It took me forever to figure that out when I got my new home.
You can cram a disposable filter in if you get the side modified to allow you to slide it in from the side. The 14x20 filter doesn't fit well, but unless you order the filter custom, this is the closest you can get.
The disposable will not fit between the exhaust tube and right side like the washable filter.
