Have a double garage with concrete floor and apron leading into it. Water comes in when it rains. Would like to pour a 2" high curb to keep out the water yet still be able to drive our cars over it without to much discomfort.
When standing outside and facing the garage door, the existing concrete humps up slightly in the middle. This means the curb would need to be approx 2" high on the left and right hand sides but only approx. 1" high in the middle and about 16' long.
I don't know how deep the curb should be or how I should go about anchoring it to the existing concrete.
Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks

your driveway, if done right, should have a slight pitch to one side. if you cant see it, try running your water hos on it and see whitch way the water runs. after you see the pitch, find the low spot where the water is ponding. start there and either cut the grass out so the water can escappe around your home, or for casual water you could put a catch basin in at the driveway and run A.D.S. drainage pipe to a low area, or do both.
also, make sure your garage door has a good seal.

You can prchase a rubber seal to go under the door that is designed to keep out water. Evil Orange even had soome last time I looked.
