The colors in my comforter are chocolate brown with a thin stripe of plum and a thin stripe of a faint gold color. Any suggestions on wall color? I thought about the wall behind the bed a deep plum color and the other colors to match the faint gold. Any suggestions?

Usually they have people at the smaller paint stores to help you with this - I don't think anyone here will risk it!

Another reason to avoid the warehouse stores.

Or I believe they have an interior design group here.

I'm going to move this to the decorators thread.

i think that would be absolutely beautiful! we've painted our living room a chamoise gold color, and i absolutely love it! all the woodwork is so warm & pretty next to it.......the old ecru white walls did nothing for the wood tones! you will LOVE the gold walls and the plum accent wall. (yellow & purple are complementary colors, so this will "officially" work great!) ....also, the chocolate would work well for the accent wall, too, but i'd go for the plum! the brown might fight with other wood tones in the room, unless your wood is much lighter. if your wood is cherry, the brown would be awful!

so........again, i vote PLUM!

GO FOR IT!!!
