I have wallpaper in my bathroom that I hate and won't come off. How do I go about painting over it. Better yet can I paint over it?

You can, but this should be done ONLY as a last resort. Please try to remove the paper first.

Cut out or glue down any flaps or loose areas. Prime with a heavy-bodied slow drying oil primer. Not a stain-killer (kilz) but a primer/underbody. After dry, float out seams and uneven areas with joint compound. Reprime patched areas with a good quality latex primer, and proceed from there.

Use a 3 inch razor blade scraper to remove the old stuff. Not to bad a job in a bathroom, a nightmare in a large room.
