Have a 31" Mistubishi oak consule model that is about 12 years old. Recently, the sound began to occasionally "pop" off. I say "pop" because it actually makes a pop sound when it goes off. The sound will stay off for several minutes or so and come back on. During this time the picture is fine but it is like the TV is in the mute mode. Is this something that can be fixed bearing in mind the TV's age or should I look into getting another TV?
