I plan on tiling over existing "excellent condition" drywall on my walls but only to about 40" high. All the wallpaper and backing has been removed. Walls washed and all glue residue removed.
What is the best wall adhesive to use over drywall.
I do not intend on putting up backer board up. The added thickness to the walls will not look right and I do not intend on taking out the existing drywall.
I just need the right adhesive selection for installation of the tile.
Thanks.
Oh the room is in a powder room. Moisture is no concern.

Hi,
Regular thin set mortar will work fine. Home Depot sells one called Master Blend that I use all the time. :)
