I recently installed a Simon III security system. My problem is that I can't get the Glass Break sensors to learn into the system.

Does anyone have any idea? I have six of them and can't get an to work. I've checked the batteries and they are fine. My monitoring company doesn't have any idea.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

William

I forgot to list the part numbers.

The sensors are:

60-459-319.5 - ITI Wireless Glass Break Sensor

There's a small jumper inside the Glassbreak that you remove temporarily to learn the sensor in:

If you need a manual for the glassbreaks - click here.

Good luck!

I've tried removing the jumper fast, slow, and any other way but they refuse to learn into the system. Do you have any ideas or tricks.

I'm at a loss.

Thanks,

William

Well, I just talked to ITI - they say it's not compatible with the Simon3.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever installed one of these glassbreaks with a Simon3 panel - I must not have if it's not compatible.

The only other thing you can do is swap them out for the Shatterpro or Flexguard glassbreaks.

I guess I need to sell these on ebay now.
