Hi,
I am about to purchase a contarctors table saw with a 30" rip capacity. This table saw is also sold with extension wings. I'm new to table saws so I don't know if I really need the wings. I plan to work with plywood sheet to build cabinets. Do the wings extend the rip capacity and is this necessary?
Thanks

Get the wings. The more table surface you have, the easier it will be to work with the saw.
Of course, it has to fit where you put it.:)
