We recently installed ceramic throughout the house, replacing truly hideous sea foam green carpeting. We were thrilled with the tile and chose mocha colored grout from Lowe's to compliment it. The grout dried a washed out mud color, no brown in it at all. We have approximately 1100 sq ft of mud room flooring. Before we seal it, we would like to know if there is anything we can do to perk up the grout. The color on the Lowe's chart was a nice chocolate brown. This isn't even close.

you could try to stain the grout but it is a tedious process and with 1100 square feet it would take hours and probably would not have the desired result. There should have been some sort of marker on the bag to show how this would look dry was there?(If so and this is not the color that it dried maybe you couldgo to who you bought this from and they could fix it for you.Having said that try some sealer in an inconspicous spot and see if it will dry darker than the grout is now sometimes it will stay a little darker than the original color:cool:
