I recently moved this TV to my home and then upstairs. When I tried to power up I hear a click and it sounds like something is trying to charge up, then nothing. No picture, no sound. I don't have any blown fuses (there are 4) and I don't see any damage of any sort. Any suggestions?

Could be many things, but try taking the H.O.T. transistor out, or desolder the collector lead of the hot. Now try to power up the set, if it does power up, the troble is in the high voltage section. May be the high voltage trasnformer. I think this procedure may be limited to switch mode power supplies, and not to linear power supplies, or any that rely on scan derived volatges.

The clicking sound may be the relay, or a part may be open in the low voltage power supply, it may also be B+ supply regulator.

That's all I can think of for now, I would need schemtics and voltage readings to be of more help. good luck, snuffs

It sounds like relatively simple problem for a service shop.:)
