I also have a baseboard system that needs bleeding but two things are a little different.
1. I do not have a pressure regulator lever. Instead I have a bell shaped valve which I assume is an automatic pressure regulator. Instead of turning a pressue regulator lever I guess that I have to turn the screw in the top of the bell to increase the water pressure flowing in. Am I correct in this assumption?

2. The second issue is as follows. I have turned the screw that shuts off one of the circuits (I have five circulator pumps) and opened the spigot. But only a few drops of water comes out the spigot!! I have tried this with all five spigots with the same results. The pressure is staying at 18-20 where it always is in my three story home.

What am I doing wrong? I thought that maybe I need to repeat the procedure with the bell like valve opened all the way. Is that correct???
Thanks for your advice.
