Hi,
I had recently turned off heating in the house to air it out. When I restarted it, one area in the 2nd floor (master bed and bath) did not warm up like the rest of the house. Cant hear any water in the pipes either.
Am new to this kind of heat. Rest of house is OK. Pump is sending water in other areas (baseboards are warm to touch).
Any ideas?? It is a single pump, with 2 zones, 2 thermostats.

There is no reason that turning off the heat would cause this problem so it may not be obvious how to solve it. If your zoning is done with circulators, one may be defective. If it is done with zone valves, one may be defective. Air may have accumulated in that zone and is preventing circulation. Other than that, there is no reason for lack of heat after turning system back on.
