Is it OK to use Great Stuff spray foam insulation around exterior outlets? It won't damage anything will it? Is it just as simple as taking off the faceplate and spraying around the box?
Or are there other ways to stop cold air flow from around outlets? I've tried the foam pad that goes under the faceplate but am not too impressed. Thanks.

Get the foam that does not expand, so you can tell what you are doing. Used to be that this stuff kept expanding for several minutes, out of control.
