Our furnance is not starting when we turn the heat on. It is 6 years old and a Carrier brand. It seems like all of the steps complete themselves ( blower on, heating element hot, second blower on) but nothing happens after that. i am wondering if the gas is getting to it? Any EASY way to check this or any hints on quick fixes?

Ok I am a real Moron.... how do you know if it is getting 24 volts? Like look to see if it is plugged in?

You have to have a volt ohm meter to start with here. See if you have the gas valve turned on. You said things work so you have power on. Pilot light ? I think you should call a hvac tech to look at it now;) ED
