I have a heater guy coming over to give me an estimate on a new oil heater and air conditioner. He suggested Kerr, which he put is the mercedes benz of the heater world. He also suggested a Bryant. He also said something about putting in an riello burner. How are these? Are they good brands? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I have never heard of that heater kerr and then he said bryant.I sure wouldnt put them in the mercedes benz class. Are he could mean it costs a lot to keep them running. So I would look some where else for a good brand . For furnace and AC Id look at Trane and Rheem I like the Beckett oil burner they been around a long time. GET 3 BIDS on this job for sure ;) ED

Not sure if i would rate them top of the line.. I would go with Thermopride. You may pay extra for them. but it will be your LAST furance to buy for the house. They are built the same as they did 50 years ago.. As they say for most other things, "They don't build them like the used to"
Read up on them on the web, and download the video..
if your going with gas, then I suggest Trane/American Standard, and Rheem/Rudd
