I am using a dry plaster mix to create a new ceiling in my kitchen, unfortunately the plaster mix is drying before I can get it up.
I'm mixing only enough to put up in 20 min or so, but it thickened and when I readded water, it bacame hard and lumpy within minutes. I thought there was another ingredient I could add to help the plaster keep a good consistancy for longer. Is there?
Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to do? You might be able to use a different product that will dry slower. If not, check with your local plaster or drywall distributor and ask about a retarder. When it's time to set up its gone. Can't add water or anything.
