Hi - I am going to put decking on a 28 foot long deck. Looks like the longest pieces of decking run about 20'.
I really prefer a more random staggering approach with several different lengths of decking. My concern is that I need double joists wherever I butt 2 pieces of decking. (I haven't decided between composite and redwood. )
Can anyone give me some guidance about ways to stagger the joints and if double joists makes sense?
Thanks
